Hua Hin Hills is the first boutique vineyard near the seaside town of Hua Hin. Operated by Siam Winery, it produces grapes for the 'New Latitude' wines that are arousing interest amongst drinkers. Plantings include Pinot Noir, Mourvedre, Albarinho and Torrontes amongst others. On arrival, visitors are served fresh grape juice and cold towel at the Sala Terrace, with a view of the vines and the surrounding hills. A video show illustrates the wine-making process. A guided walk amongst the vines is provided, or if desired a ride by elephant - a novelty for a vineyard. A wine-tasting is also offered, and purchases can be made at the wine shop, including award-winning bottles of Monsoon Valley White Shiraz and Fortified Muscat (whilst stocks last).
