During this half-day tour, you will drive to a local beauty spot for a panoramic view over the white sands of Chaweng beach and the Azure Sea. You then continue to the rock formations, which the locals have fondly nicknamed 'Grandpa' and 'Grandma'. See why! Next appointment is at the Monkey Training Camp, where our simian friends are taught how to harvest the coconut crop, which is a mainstay of the island economy. We then travel into the interior for a visit to Na Muang waterfall, whose 30-metre drop has hollowed out a pool at the base which you can bathe in. Continue to the main port and 'capital' of the island, Na Thon, for a browse through its shops and markets. Finally we visit Koh Fan, joined to the mainland by a causeway and home to a 15 metre high Buddha image, which you may have seen from the air if you flew into Samui airport. The tour terminates at your hotel.

Full day snorkelling tour to Coral Island. You will be picked up from your hotel by air conditioned minibus and transferred to Thong Krut pier. Board a long-tail boat for the trip to Koh Tan (journey time is approximately 20 minutes). Snorkelling equipment is provided for those who wish to get a close look at the splendid coral reefs and marine life in these crystal clear waters. Or you can take a casual dip or simply laze on the private beach. After an hour or so we continue a further ten minutes by boat to Koh Mut Sam where you can bask on the white sands or swim with the fishes. Thai lunch is included on the island, after which we return to Koh Samui. You will be returned to your hotel by minibus around 14:30.

Pick up from your hotel by air conditioned minibus for transfer to the pier
where you will board the boat bound for the Ang Thong Marine National Park.
Coffee or tea and a pastry will be served. Stop firstly at park headquarters on
Koh Wua Ta Lap ('sleeping cow island') for a panoramic view over the islands.
Continue to Tham Bua Boke ('swaying lotus cave') for an exploration of the
stalactite and stalagmite formations within. A hot buffet lunch will be served
on board the boat. After lunch continue to Mae Koh ('mother island') to see the
emerald green saltwater lake of Talay Nai within the crater. Mid afternoon we
return to Koh Samui and coffee or tea with a sandwich will be offered.
Approximate arrival time at the pier is 17:00 where you will be met by minibus
for the return transfer to your hotel. There may be free time for swimming and
snorkelling (optional extra).

Fishing trip to Coral Island (Koh Tan). Transfer by minibus from your hotel to the pier and board a long tail boat. Set forth for Koh Tan, also known as Coral Island. For the active (if indeed you can call it active) the balance of the day is dedicated to sea fishing. You would be unlucky not to get a bite in these waters, even big game fish have been known to turn up. Plenty of scope to come up with a fisherman's tale. There is also the choice of taking a break to swim in the crystal clear waters or to soak up the sunrays on the beach, not everybody needs to be an angler. A Thai set lunch is included at a restaurant on the island. Mid afternoon sail back to Samui, where the transfer van awaits you to return you to your hotel. Fishing tackle is provided for this trip, but the fish are not...so good luck.

Full day snorkelling trip to Koh Tao. After pick up from your hotel, transfer to Bophut pier to board the motorboat to Koh Tao. Koh Tao ('turtle island') lies to the north of Samui and is an administrative district of Chumphon province. First stop will be at Koh Nang Yuan, a series of three islets connected by a beach. You can climb up the hill for a panoramic view, or stick to snorkelling in the clear waters surrounding the shore. We stay here for two hours before continuing to Koh Tao. On arrival at Mae Haad pier, pause for a typical southern Thai lunch (watch it, it's spicy!). Cool off in Ao Leuk bay with a spot of post prandial snorkelling and you can throw a few tasty morsels to the fish by way of thanks. Mid afternoon we make the return journey to Koh Samui. Transfer back to your hotel on arrival at Bophut Pier. Snorkelling equipment is provided.
