The Heurigen Express is a great way to admire some of the most typical parts of Vienna and rest on a comfortable seat. In the public bakery, original handmade Viennese apple strudels are made and baked every hour by an experienced confectioner. This show is an absolute must for apple strudel fans, as you can discover precisely how such a delicious strudel is prepared.
In addition, every visitor receives a copy of the original Viennese apple strudel recipe, with which you can try your hand as an apple strudel baker at home. Not just the preparation, but also the simultaneous baking is a special experience; the aroma of baking strudel makes your mouth water.

House of Music is an interactive sound museum, located in the city centre: four floors dedicated to the world of music and sound. You will be invited on a musical journey, where music becomes audible and visible in real and virtual rooms. The glass-covered Inner Courtyard provides a relaxing atmosphere, while in the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra Museum you will discover the history of this famous orchestra. The former private apartments of the first leader of the Viennese Court Opera Company and founder of the Vienna Philharmonic are now home to historic treasures from the Philharmonic Archives. The New Year's Concert is probably the single most famous concert in the world. Experience the only authorised short version (35 minutes) of the Concert in a specially conceived concert hall, where top quality imaging and sound allow you to immerse yourself in this unique cultural event.

Enjoy a visit to one of the most significant museums in the world - the Museum of Natural History in Vienna. In display halls covering 8700 m² you can travel through our planet's history, through the breathtaking diversity of nature and back to the origins of our culture. On the upper ground floor you will experience the fascinating and valuable precious stones and minerals, rare fossils and gigantic dinosaurs, as well as famous prehistoric works of art. One of the most important is the 25000 year old figure of "Venus von Willendorf", the skeleton of a Diplodocus, the longest terrestrial vertebrate that has ever lived, a giant topaz weighing 117 kg and the valuable bouquet of jewels which Maria Theresia made as a present to her husband.
On the first floor you will see the overwhelming species variety of the animal world, from protozoa to the most highly developed mammals. Objects of more than 200 years old are of greatest interest, not only on their own account but also as a witness of nature and historical records for the history of science and the art of taxidermy. Numerous stuffed animals of species either extinct or extremely endangered make the collections truly irreplaceable.

At the Leopold museum you will see one of the most important collections of the Austrian modern art in the world. This was collected by Mr Rudolf and Ms Elisabeth Leopold over a period of 5 decades. You can admire 5000 exhibits including the works of Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka and many others during the course of this permanent exhibition. In addition there are regular special exhibitions too.

Take the chance and visit the Belvedere Palace, the palace at the heart of Vienna and which was the baroque summer residence of the renowned general and art connoisseur Prince Eugene. In the Upper Belvedere you find the world's largest Klimt collection with the famous golden pictures "The Kiss" and "Judith" which is a "must" for Klimt fans. In this magnificent palace you can stroll past Austrian art from the Middle Ages to Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. And from the Marble Hall there is an unforgettable view across the Baroque palace gardens to St. Stephen's Cathedral. At Prince Eugene's Lower Belvedere and Orangery, the museum stages superb temporary exhibitions with artworks from all over the world. Here you can also discover Prince Eugene's staterooms, the Hall of Grotesques and the sumptuous Golden Room, the Palace Stables and the Privy Garden.

Embedded into the baroque ambiance of the Palace Park of Schonbrunn, the Zoo is part of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Zoo was founded in 1752 and is the oldest existing zoo in the world. Through several expansions and additions fascinating habitats were created, in perfect harmony with heritage protection and modern husbandry management. These habitats enable visitors to gain stunning insights into the secret and tantalizing life of animals from all continents. You will be able to admire the Zoo's special attractions: a pair of Giant Pandas, Koalas, Giant Ant-eaters, African Elephants, Japanese Cranes and more than 400 species that can hardly be see in any other zoo in the world! This explains why, in 2003, Schonbrunn Zoo was the most visited attraction in Austria, with more than 2 million visitors.

It is situated at Palais Eskeles, a historic city mansion close to St Stephen's Cathedral, and houses a permanent exhibition on Austrian Jewish history. The famous Max Berger Judaica Collection documents Jewish religion.
