Located in the Casa de Campo, a large parkland on the western edge of Madrid, the Zoo-Aquarium occupies some 20 hectares.
As well as the Zoo itself, there is a delphinarium, an aviary and a little farm. The Zoo is divided into geographical areas (Africa, Asia, etc). The Zoo provides route planners so as not to miss anything. There is also a "Mysterious Nature" pavilion which exhibits amphibians, reptiles and so on.
The delphinarium is a large installation with a capacity for 3000 people, with dolphin shows at various times during the day. The aviary also holds birds-in-flight exhibitions, where you can get to see birds of prey, parrots and other species close up. The little farm is where children can get to see lambs, rabbits and other such animals up close.
All the exhibits are to be found in gardens, which themselves can be considered in their own right to be a botanical garden, as there are over 100 different types of plants all signposted.
There are also two self-service restaurants as well as a cafeteria, burger bar and various snack bars.

Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, is an unspoilt medieval city that still preserves its narrow winding cobbled streets. Known as the City of the Three Civilizations, one can still see traces of the Moorish, Jewish and Christian cultures who lived here over the centuries, as well as remains dating back to its Roman occupation. Once the capital of the Spanish Empire, today the city is perhaps best known for its wonderful Cathedral, the Alcazar, the Santo Tome church, the Synagogues and many other remarkable monuments. Toledo was also well known for its sword production, and the city is still renowned for its craftsmanship.
We will leave Madrid with our guide and once we get Toledo we will enjoy a walking tour. After that, we will have a couple of hours free time until the departure time.

We brengen een bezoek aan de hoofd trap, de kamers van alabarderos, Gasparini, Karel III, porceleinwerken, gala eetzaal, zilvermuseum , muziekinstrumenten, hoofd binnenplaats, kapel en de vier nieuwe kamers. We gaan per touringcar door voor een panoramische toer door de verschillende wijken van Madrid. Van de Borbones, Austrias, Isabelino en de historische wijken door naar het Moorse kwartier.
