This short but very instructive tour, by bus only, shows you around the city's historical districts: New Town, Old Town, as well as Lesser Town and Jewish Quarter, and will present you with their most important architectural monuments and sights. Or you can also chose the evening tour instead during which we will drive you through the illuminated historical centre of Prague.

Franz Kafka is one of the outstanding Prague locals. Life and work of this world-famous Jewish writer was closely connected to Prague at the turn of 19th and 20th century. If you decide to join us for this tour you will not only learn more about magical writer Franz Kafka but you will also get more familiar with the romantic nooks of the Old Town and Jewish Town and you will also have a stroll over Charles Bridge. At the end of the tour our guide will accompany you to Franz Kafka museum enabling you to get a reduced entrance fee.

You will hear the stories concealed behind the house signs and statues on the Powder Tower, Municipal House, Clementinum, St. Nicholas Church, Old Town Hall with its famous astronomical clock. Then discover, in the Old Town, the old Jewish Ghetto, where the many synagogues and the Jewish Town Hall are placed around an Old Cemetery, creating the most well preserved Jewish monuments in Europe. Learn about the First and Second World war, Nazi Gestapo on the streets, the Communist Revolution in 1948, Russian Occupation in 1968, the burning of blacklisted books, why student Jan Palach burned himself alive, the organisation Charta 77 and the unprecedented Velvet Revolution in 1989.

After a short bus ride you will spend one hour on a boat cruising through the historical core of the city, passing the most impressive sights and monuments, including Prague castle panorama, Charles Bridge, romantic Kampa Island, picturesque roofs and charming spires of the Lesser Town and Old Town. This sightseeing tour aims to introduce Prague in two hours in your native language. During the first part of the tour you will see the Old Town, Charles Bridge and Lesser Town (Mala Strana) from our air-conditioned bus equipped with a modern headphone system. Then you will have approximately 45 minutes to visit the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague Castle on your own. After the walk around Prague Castle you will continue again by bus through Old Town Square near Municipal Haouse back to the departure point listening to commentary on each of the sights.

When the 60 minute walk is over, you will again take the bus going through Lesser Town to Kampa Island and walk across the Charles Bridge from where you take a walk through the Old Town and Jewish Town. The sightseeing tour ends at the Old Town Square with the Orloj (Prague Astronomical clock) on Old Townhall and Tyn Cathedral.

After a short coach drive you will board a ship and spend 2 hours cruising through the historical core of the city. Your journey will take you past the most impressive sights and monuments including Prague Castle and St. Vitus Cathedral, the baroque churches of the Lesser Town and Old Town, and Charles Bridge. Buffet lunch is served during the cruise.
